Welcome
We believe at Antrim Church that God wants you to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He wants you to become His disciple.
We have designed a systematic way for you to become all He wants you to be. We call it our discipleship track. Not only is this track systematic, but it is also progressive and intentional. Our basic discipleship track consists of a 4-Sunday Welcome! class (for all newcomers), a Firm Foundations class (for new believers), a Spiritual Gifts Discovery class, an Evangelism Basics course and an Essentials of Christian Leadership class.
In addition to the Discipleship Track, we have eight (8) regular, year-round adult classes that study a variety of biblical and current topics.
Discipleship School (Basic & Advanced)
Antrim Church offers a "discipleship school." The Basic School centers
around four basic discipleship courses: (1) "Firm Foundations" (entry
level doctrinal course); (2) "Spiritual Gifts Discovery"; (3) "Basic
Evangelism" (Principles and practices of outreach essentials); and,
(4) "Essential Leadership" (Foundational principles of spiritual and
effective leadership). Additionally, the candidate would attend or
view three (3) leadership or discipleship seminars (in-house or outside
of Antrim Church). The courses would be offered throughout the regular
church year (Sep. - May).
The Advanced School has three course offerings: (1) Introduction to NT Greek; (2) Knowing God (an in-depth look at the character of God); and, (3) Real Followers (an intensive 21st century discipleship course).
A diploma or certificate of completion and certification would be offered to those who enrolled and completed the four basic courses.
- Benefits of the Discipleship School:
